It is that time of the year again! The WASM Student Guild Ball, with the help from of our sponsor TASMAN, will be held on October 21st at the great DeBernales Bar. So get your dresses and suits ready for this night to remember! Ticket Sales end on the 14th of October *This is a formal event, if there are any problems with the Debernales staff we have the capacity to remove you from the premises and your ticket will NOT be reimbursed. 

Celebrate the first weekend of Oktoberfest with your mates at WASM 2022 Oktoberfest! Sausages, Beer and Cider will be available. Be sure to buy a 2022 WASM Stein to use on the day. From Midday on the WASM Lawns and BBQ area. Tickets: Member - $30, Non-member - $40

Test your brain at the WASM Quiz Night! Get together a team of 6 people, bring some snacks, drinks, a good attitude and a sense of humour. Funds raised at quiz night will go towards our end of year ball. Prizes will go to the top tables! Event starts 6:30 at WASM grads hall Entry is $50 per table, or $10 per person

Sem 2's Open is Latin themed, I wonder which Guild Rep planned this one. Come along for fat chats, some themed music (and later in the night some unthemed) and a couple of drinks. Corona's on deck plus ciders and some cocktails.  

Time to celebrate the graduation of WASM's class of 2021.  Prizes for the best group and best individual costume!  Outside has lots of room for activities, but don't let that take you away from Karaoke and The Debos DJ inside! Graduates are free entry!

Come down to join all WASM Clubs and meet Kalgoorlie community and sporting organisations! Guild will be running our free Wednesday BBQ at the same time and have a few competitions running.

It's the end of the year already! Let's celebrate at the Guild Ball on the 22nd of October. This year we are bringing Italy to you! This year's theme: Tuscan Moon The tickets are inclusive of a 3 course meal and drinks. Tickets on sale online, come see your local Guild Representative at the Wednesday BBQ's from 12-1PM or chuck us a message if you have any troubles. Physical tickets will be available to collect from the WASM Library from Wednesday, September 29.

We want to take the opportunity in the busiest week of uni (for most of us) to check in with you! It has been a long semester and a long time away from family for some. We want you to know IT'S OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY. If you need to have a chat and feel like you are facing something alone, speak with one of the team! We're all ears. Join the Guild for a delicious bbq brunch at the same time. We have you covered with the classic breakfast items. You just have to show up :)

Vote for your representatives for the 2022 WASM Student Guild! Candidates will give their speeches at 12PM and voting will begin at 12:30PM. Voting will close at 8:30PM. Don't forget to bring your student ID when voting in person! If you cannot make it in person, online voting will also be set up. This is an interesting and free event run by our postgraduate officer that is open for all students! You will get to get an insight on the challenges new professionals in the industry face, the most important skills to develop and some core values companies look for!  There will also be plenty of opportunities to ask the panel more questions and network in the breaks.
